Welcome to my rambling 'Prayer Commentary' of the whole bible. These are my [not-quite] daily scribblings to God about every verse in the bible from over the last ~decade. You can use it to help you see 3D things in the bible text, or to get juicy ideas to teach/ preach from, or to address tricky questions, etc. I think that if you can find a single boring page in the bible, it's you ;-) I massively value but don't emotionally 'like' commentaries because they are depersonalised. I don't like devotional commentaries or journalling because they focus on the writer or reader. So instead, I've talked to God about what I see going on in the text and what God is like. This is far more interesting I reckon. A worthwhile readings of the bible is one that gets to our throat and heart because the things going on in and behind the text are so stark and beautiful.
